Meet your coach: Beth.

Hey girl! I’m Beth and I’m a certified Personal Trainer, powerlifter and ex-dancer, and I want to help you become your strongest self.

As a dancer, my self-worth was dependent on how small and lean I was. I was taught to think of training and nutrition in terms of body size and shape . Being a “healthy” dancer did not mean physically, mentally and emotionally strong and happy, but purely how you look in a leotard and tights and how disciplined you were.

Since finding powerlifting, that mindset has completely flipped. I’m the most confident and content I have ever been. I now embrace fuelling my body, striving to be and look strong, and prioritise enjoyment, balance and sustainability above all else.

And so that is what sits at the core of my coaching: Strength and Empowerment. In whatever form that might be for you.

I believe there is true empowerment in focussing on what our bodies and minds can DO, as opposed to being all-consumed solely by how they look. And so, whatever whatever your preconceptions, I want to encourage you to be bold. Go against what you have been told you have to be, and become who you want to be.

I want to help you take a step away from toxic diet cultures, being scared of weight training and empower you to take up space in the gym, create a lifestyle that focussed on sustainability and balance first, whilst still allowing you to see the results that you want.

I want to use my own passions and experiences to help you to achieve your goals. I won’t just be your coach, but your cheerleader. Completely invested, guiding you every step of the way and teaching you the tools you need.

Are you ready to take the next step?

My Core Values:

  • Communication

A quick response time can, at times, be a make or break situation. Online coaching is not a 9-5 job, and so I make sure that I’m available for my girls when they need me. Weekly scheduled check in calls, regular messages, 24/7 support and additional calls booked in where needed. Quick response times and an open channel of communication are crucial to me as a coach.

  • Knowledge

It sounds like a strange thing to say, but I don’t want my girls to need me forever. I want each of my clients to walk away feeling as though they have learned all the tools, gained the knowledge and experience all that they need. After all, knowledge truly is power.

  • Intent

Everything that I set for my clients, is for a reason. No copy and paste programming, no universal form feedback; it’s all completely bespoke. So, taking the time to explain the intention behind each decision, suggestion or bit of feedback is incredibly important to ensure that my clients know how their training is tailored to their goals, they’re clear on any specifics and are kept in the loop at all times.

  • Reciprocity

A coach-client relationship is exactly that - a relationship. And so I really value developing that, to create a safe space for them to speak freely, come to me with any issues and allow us to resolve them together. Working together, maintaining a 2-way street to push for the best results possible. You get out of this journey what you put in.
